About Systopia - Cashless Payments

Center Parcs Expand Cashless Solution

Following the hugely successful cashless implementation at Whinfell Forest, Center Parcs have extended the solution to a new location.

Center Parcs have chosen to extend their successful cashless wristband solution to an additional location in Woburn. It marks the continuation of a fantastic relationship between Systopia and Center Parcs, who are reaping the benefits that a cashless payment system brings.

As they do at Whinfell Forest, Center Parcs’ Woburn guests are able to use discreet wristbands to pay for food and drink on site and also to access lockers and lodges. To use the cashless system, guests register their credit/debit cards to their wristband, with purchases credited to their account throughout their stay, which are simply paid for on departure. This efficient system removes the need for guests to carry cash, which has long been a challenge and source of inconvenience for all.

Feedback from Woburn guests has been excellent, with many taking to review sites like TripAdvisor to share their good experiences:

“The new wristbands are great. They open the door of your villa, open lockers in the swimming pool, sports venue and spa. You can even load it up and pay for coffee and lunch. Brilliant idea.”

“Fantastic new wristbands meant no tricky key issues and linking them to a card to purchase drinks was easy.”

“Love the wristband idea and feel this is a real bonus not having to bother with keys to the room and felt it added a lot to the feeling of security.”

“The wristband which gave access to lodges could also be used in Aqua Sana & Swimming area which was great. No having to bring money.”

“The wristbands were great, they saved carrying money and keys. Great idea!”

“Wristbands grant each person access to the hotel room, swimming pool lockers and could be loaded with a credit/debit card for payment in the pool complex. Very modern and a great idea.”

“The wristband system was excellent and worked very well indeed – super to be cashless in the swimming area, etc.”

Julia Lambert, IT Project Manager at Center Parcs UK said “The initial feedback from guests has been excellent. The wristbands allow guests to open doors to their lodges, open lockers in the changing rooms, as well as being used for payment in certain parts of the village.”

Watch out for Systopia’s solutions at new Center Parcs sites in the future.
